Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Klingbar you agree to these terms. If you're using Klingbar on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], and disputes are resolved in [VENUE / DISPUTE PROCESS].
The service
Klingbar is a synthetic focus-group platform. You compose a panel from our persona library, run a session against a stimulus you supply, and read the synthesis we generate. Synthetic personas are language-model simulations, not real people; their responses are directional research signal, not a substitute for human studies or professional advice. We may change, add, or remove features over time.
Your account
You're responsible for the credentials you register (including WebAuthn passkeys) and for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in factors secure and tell us promptly at support@klingbar.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate account information and be at least [MINIMUM AGE] years old to use Klingbar.
Acceptable use
Use Klingbar lawfully and in good faith. Don't:
- submit stimuli or prompts that are illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent the platform's limits or security;
- resell or redistribute the persona library or platform output as a competing dataset or service;
- use the service to generate unlawful, harassing, or deceptive content.
We may suspend access for conduct that threatens the platform or other users while we investigate.
Your content and our IP
You keep ownership of the stimuli, prompts, and other work product you supply. You grant Klingbar a limited license to process that content solely to operate the service for you (render personas, route prompts to the language model, return synthesis, and bill correctly), as described in our privacy page. Klingbar owns the platform, the persona library, and the software; we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them while your account is active. The synthesis output we generate for your session is yours to use for your own research.
Payment and billing
Paid plans and top-up credit packs are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Subscriptions bundle a set number of credits per billing period and renew automatically until canceled. Cycle credits expire at the end of each billing period; top-up credits don't expire. Manage your plan, payment method, and invoices through the Stripe customer portal linked from your account. Prices, credit allotments, and pack sizes are as shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Refunds are handled per [REFUND POLICY]; except as required by law or stated there, payments are non-refundable.
Disclaimers
Klingbar is provided "as is" and "as available." Synthetic personas are model-generated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent; you're responsible for how you interpret and act on the output. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klingbar and Welded Anvil Technologies LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to [LIABILITY CAP — e.g. the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months]. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
You can stop using Klingbar and delete your account at any time from your account's danger zone. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the platform ends; the sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and our legal obligations evolve. When we make material changes we'll update this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
